Bellingham's goal helps the holders in the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona.

Jude Bellingham scored his ninth goal as Real Madrid beat Mallorca 3-0 in the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona.

In the 63rd minute of the game, English forward Bellingham had the upper hand from Rodrigo's header and hit the post, and goalkeeper Dominik Greif's shot was saved by goalkeeper Dominik Greif.

Real Madrid's second goal came in the 92nd minute when Madrid defender Martin Valjent headed in Brahim Diaz's cross, and Rodrygo scored three minutes later from Lucas Vazquez's cross.

The two teams clashed on the pitch after the final whistle, stemming from a disagreement between Mallorca's Pablo Maffeo and Madrid's Vinicius Junior.

The Spanish and European champions will face domestic title rivals Barca in the same stadium on Sunday (7pm GMT).

Madrid vs Mallorca

Madrid had all 11 attempts on target between the teams but were hampered by a lack of accuracy, with Mbappe now without a goal in more than three-and-a-half hours of football.

Despite 35% possession and few chances, Cyle Larin had arguably Mallorca's best chance before scoring from Dani Rodriguez's first-half cross.

Aurelien Tchouameni's situation may be of more concern to Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti. Five minutes after the restart, the midfielder played a star role until he was tackled by the post as he defended a cross and was concussed by a collision with the forward.

Greif saved late strikes from Rodrygo and Mbappe, but the sixth-placed side in Spain held on until a poor Valjent stabbed home Brahim Diaz's pass.

If Mbappe doesn't get to the ball and score, Valgent can have little to complain about after Valgent intervened and Mallorca created precious little for most of the game.

Spanish Super Cup Final: Madrid vs Barcelona

Rodrygo's goal brought a curious scene to the fore after full-time, with Ancelotti among the notable peacekeepers after a tense match.

Madrid, who are five points clear of third-placed Barcelona at the top of La Liga, will look to avenge their 4-0 win at the Santiago Bernabeu on November 16 in the final.

They won 4-1 in last season's final, including a first-half hat-trick from Vinicius Junior.
