The wait is finally over! The third season of SA20 2025 is all set to kick off on January 9, with defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape taking on MI Cape Town at St George's Park in Gqeberha. Get together for a month of non-stop cricket with some of the biggest T20 stars around.
SA20 2025 format
Guys like Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, Liam LivingstoneAND Moeen Ali are ready to ignite the tournament. SA20 2025 has SIX teams battling it out in 30 league matches, with each team facing the others twice. After that, it's playoff time!
Like the IPL, SA20 2025 will have Qualifier 1, Eliminator and Qualifier 2 before the grand final on February 8 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
The Eastern Cape Sunrisers have already won two titles, and they are aiming for a third this season. Their first challenge? MI Cape Town in the opener. But it won't be a walk in the park. The other teams are brought out to stop them.
MI Cape Town, led by Rashid Khan, haven't had the best of times so far – finishing bottom in both seasons. But they are back with a new approach and will want to prove a point. However, they will be missing England's Ben Stokes, who is out with a muscle injury.
SA20 2025 Seats
The matches will be spread across six locations: Durban, Paarl, Gqeberha, Johannesburg, Centurion and Cape Town. Each team will be playing on all these grounds, meaning fans across South Africa will have a chance to catch the action live.
The final will take place on February 8 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. It's the perfect place to end what promises to be a new tour.
