Trent Alexander-Arnold has admitted he is focused on building a “legacy” as he prepares to make a big decision on his future at Liverpool.
Like Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, Alexander-Arnold is approaching the final six months of his current contract. However, while there is growing optimism about Liverpool's ability to bring back Van Dijk and Salah, their right-back's future remains up in the air, with Real Madrid said he had “lureAlexander-Arnold before a possible free tRANSFER.
Alexander-Arnold features in a large mural outside Anfield along with a quote that reads: “I'm just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dream has just come true.”
Asked by Men in Blazers On his next dream, Alexander-Arnold replied: “Of course, winning more trophies. But on a personal level you're building a legacy. That's something that's important.
“Just talked about in the highest regard, especially after you're done (playing). In ten or 15 years, if I'm being talked about as one of the best right-backs or the best right-back, then that's what I'm playing for now and using that as motivation.”
Liverpool have made an offer to open the Alexander-Arnold contract, which dropped a big hint about his future admitting his enthusiasm to be part of Arne Slot's project at Anfield.
However, the uncertain nature of the situation has left Liverpool exploring potential replacements for Alexander-Arnold. There have been significant links with Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong, but Slot is are not believed to be interested in a deal for the attack-minded Dutchman.
