The 33rd game a Big Bash League saw some good bowling from Sydney Thunderwho conquered Perth Scorchers with a convincing margin of 61 runs. The game, which was played at the Sydney Showground Stadium, was one side where the Thunder practiced and played football. Tom Andrews' less batting has made them more successful.
Knockout of Tom Andrews
Perth Scorchers won the toss and decided to bowl first, looking to chase down a target that looked like a good batting position. However, the Scorchers' bowling attack struggled to contain the Thunder throughout the period. Sydney Thunder managed to score 158/7 in their 20 overs, with the big score coming. Konstas himself.
Konstas played a crucial knock of 53 off 42 balls, with four fours and two sixes, to support the innings at the top. Real shots came out Tom Andrewswho put the electronic display below. He scored a quick 37 off just 13 balls, hitting 3 fours and 3 sixes. His burst ensured the Thunder would reach the championship despite a slow start. The Scorchers bowlers worked hard, but failed to stop the power that Andrews created.
Lance Morris was the pick of the bowlers for the Scorchers, taking 3 wickets in his 4-over spell. However, it was a drive that did not yield enough wickets to stop the Thunder. Other bowlers included Aston Agar, Cooper Connolly, Matthew Spoors and Jason Behrendorff each took one wicket but could not make a big impact on the total.
Perth Scorchers batting collapse
Chasing a tough target of 159, the Perth Scorchers batting line-up crumbled under the pressure. They were bowled out for a paltry 97 in just 20 overs. Aaron Hardie Top scorer for the Scorchers is 22 runs off 17 balls, including 1 four and 2 sixes. Despite their best efforts, the Scorchers could not build a partnership, and none of the other batsmen could put up much resistance.
The Sydney Thunder bowlers were on top throughout. Mohammad Hasnain, Tom Andrewsand Tanveer Sangha everyone took a wicket, when Nathan McAndrew he took 2 wickets. However, the top form came from Chris Greenwho won the match, taking three wickets for just 22 runs in his four overs. His dominance between the overs ensured that the Scorchers could not recover. Andrews' total win earned him the Player of the Match award. His quickfire 37 with the bat and a vital wicket with the ball played a major role in the Thunder's victory. With this huge victory by 61 runs, the Thunder secured their place in the playoffs, marking the biggest success in their Big Bash League campaign.

Well done to the Sydney Thunder and especially the BBL for this win. We can say that the BBL was very happy with the win and the one-sided record tonight. #BBL14

Tom Andrews my MOTHER
His late batting was successful
If we get 125, Perth will bat differently and get it out
A smart knock to set it up

A poor season from the Perth Scorchers. maybe the West Coast Eagles will do well 😂 my example is that when one does bad the other does well 😂

Amazing how shithouse Perth Scorchers are this season.
He had a few injuries but the team looks very strong to compete but now it is possible.

Perth Scorchers missed out on the finals for the first time in years. Sydney Thunder are over. The Spotless Stadium is a perfect place for their spinners to wreak havoc in today's game. #BBL14
